Today, we celebrate the summer solstice and, with it, the official beginning of summer.
Today also marks the one-month countdown to the Flint Literary Festival, kicking off on July 21st, and our organizing committee has been plenty busy. In the upcoming weeks, we’ll be posting a lot more here about our featured readers, our book fair, our panel discussions, our local guest readers, and possibly even several other surprises. Keep checking back, because things will only heat up from here!
In the meantime, put on your sunglasses, pour yourself a glass of lemonade, and crack open a good book. The literary festival is only a couple days in July, but your whole summer can be literary!
